BluffviewBluffview runs from Northwest Highway south toward Lovers Lane, between Midway Road and Inwood Road, with hilly lots along Bachman Branch and its creeks.
Rentals are mostly houses and the odd duplex rather than complexes, with the Tollway a short drive away.
Midway HollowBounded by Walnut Hill Lane, Northwest Highway, Marsh Lane and Midway Road, Midway Hollow is mostly 1950s ranch houses with plenty of rebuilds mixed in.
Love Field is close by, so planes on approach are part of the background depending on the wind.
Lovers Lane CorridorWest of Inwood, Lovers Lane heads toward Love Field past small strip centers, older duplexes and newer townhomes.
The Inwood/Love Field DART station on the Green and Orange lines is close by, and the airport's runways are the big noise source here.
Midway RoadMidway Road is the line between Bluffview and Midway Hollow, and it runs north past Walnut Hill toward Bachman Lake and LBJ.
Expect houses on both sides with a few small office buildings, and steady traffic at the Northwest Highway light.
Bachman Branch CorridorBachman Branch winds through the northwest part of Bluffview in a wooded greenbelt with steep banks, which is where the neighborhood gets its name.
Farther northwest, Bachman Lake has a loop trail of about 3 miles right next to Love Field.
Northwest Highway CorridorLoop 12, here called Northwest Highway, forms the north edge of Bluffview and the south edge of Midway Hollow.
Gas stations, strip centers and a few small apartment buildings line its frontage. It's the quickest way east to Preston Center, the Tollway and US-75.
Walnut Hill CorridorWalnut Hill Lane caps Midway Hollow on the north, and the Walnut Hill/Denton DART station on the Green Line is a short drive away.
You'll find mostly streets of houses along it, with older apartment complexes picking up closer to Harry Hines and I-35E.

Getting Around Bluffview / Midway Hollow Near Love Field
Midway Hollow sits north of Northwest Highway between Marsh Lane, Midway Road and Walnut Hill Lane. Bluffview sits south of it, between Midway and Inwood Road down toward University Boulevard. Midway Road runs north toward Addison, Inwood heads south to the Medical District and Oak Lawn, and Northwest Highway carries traffic east to the Tollway and US-75.
Bachman and Inwood/Love Field stations, on the Green and Orange lines, are the nearest trains, good for Downtown and the hospitals. From most blocks, either one is a drive or a long walk, so nearly everyone here still drives.
Love Field matters at every address. Jet noise reaches parts of both neighborhoods, and it shifts with the wind and the runway in use, so a quiet Tuesday can sound nothing like a busy Friday. Stand outside the place at 7am on a weekday before you decide.
What actually rents in Bluffview / Midway Hollow
This isn't an apartment district. Most rentals are houses, duplexes and townhomes built to rent, and the few small older buildings on Lovers Lane and Midway mostly hold one and two bedrooms.
The townhome companies are the bigger landlords here. They screen by written rules and often say yes with conditions, such as a bigger deposit or a co-signer. That surprises renters who expect a big company to be stricter than an individual owner; here it's often the reverse.
Bachman Branch winds through Bluffview in a wooded greenbelt, and some blocks next to it sit in or near the mapped floodplain. A standard renters policy won't pay for flood damage, so check the address on the map. In a house lease, mowing may well be your job. Get that in writing, along with who pays water and trash.

This corner of Dallas sits close to a lot by car. In our 8am timing, it's about 12 minutes to the Medical District, 19 to Downtown, 24 to DFW Airport and 26 to Legacy West. Dallas Love Field is just to the southeast, so a Southwest flight can start with a short ride, not the trip to DFW. The nearest train is Inwood/Love Field Station, off Inwood Road. Green and Orange line trains run south from there to the Medical District and downtown.
