Areas we cover inside Addison

  • Addison CircleApartment buildings with shops on the ground floor ring Addison Circle Park, off Quorum Drive and Morris Avenue.

The Silver Line's Addison station is on Arapaho Road at its edge, and the park's big festivals close streets a few weekends a year.

  • Quorum DriveQuorum Drive runs north and south just east of the Dallas North Tollway, lined with office towers, hotels and midsize apartment buildings.

Belt Line restaurants and Addison Circle are a few blocks away, though Tollway noise reaches apartments on the west side.

  • Marsh LaneOn its far west side, Addison reaches Marsh Lane south of Belt Line, past Midway Road and Addison Airport.

Farmers Branch and Carrollton are across the street, and you can expect older garden complexes and some jet noise from the runway.

  • Belt Line CorridorBelt Line Road is Addison's restaurant row, running east to west from Marsh Lane past the Tollway and Village on the Parkway.

Garden complexes from the 1980s and newer buildings wrapped around parking garages sit a block or two back, with LBJ a few minutes south.

Rentals here are mostly older garden apartments and townhomes, and the Tollway is the quick way north or south.

Addison Apartments: Circle Midrises, Brownstones and Quorum Gardens

  • Addison Circle apartment buildings, brownstones and Quorum and Marsh gardens compared on one monthly number
  • Guest parking near the Belt Line restaurants, which fills up on weekends, so ask each building how many spaces it has
  • Jet noise from Addison Airport at north side homes, so stand outside for a few minutes before you sign
  • The Quorum and Marsh complexes, where a co-signer or bigger deposit can open doors the Circle won't

Getting Around Addison: Tollway, DART, and Belt Line

Addison sits along the Tollway in Dallas County, with Carrollton and Farmers Branch to the west and North Dallas to the south. Belt Line Road is the main east to west street, reaching Carrollton one way and Richardson the other.

Silver Line trains have stopped at Addison station, on Arapaho Road by the Circle, since October 2025. They run west to DFW Airport and east to Plano, and Knoll Trail station is about a mile east. Voters chose to stay in DART in May 2026. Trains run about hourly outside rush hour, so a car still matters for most errands.

The Tollway is the fast way to Plano, Frisco and Uptown, but tolls add up if you drive it daily. Price your trip on NTTA's toll calculator. Addison Airport fills the land north of Belt Line between Midway and Addison roads, and north side homes hear its business jets on takeoff and landing.

Three building types in one small city

You'll find three kinds of rentals here, and each one prices differently. The apartment buildings around Addison Circle charge fees for amenities, reserved parking and trash pickup, much like buildings in central Dallas. Turn any free rent into a monthly figure before you compare.

The older garden and midrise complexes along Quorum, Marsh and Belt Line rent for less and have easier rules, and most have been updated at least once. Solid income but a credit snag? A lease guarantee, a larger deposit or a co-signer can work there when the Circle buildings say no.

The brownstones and townhomes at the Circle have their own front doors and attached garages, and they lease separately from the apartment buildings beside them. Whichever you pick near Belt Line, ask how many guest spaces the building controls. Restaurant lots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights.

A week in Addison

Addison is small, but Belt Line Road is lined with restaurants, a Silver Line station sits at Addison Circle, and the park there hosts big festivals from spring through fall.

The Silver Line and the Tollway

Since October 25, 2025, Silver Line trains stop at Addison Station on Arapaho Road. DART says the ride takes about 32 minutes to DFW Airport and 27 to Shiloh Road in Plano. Off peak, trains come about once an hour, so check the schedule. Knoll Trail Station is under a mile east. By car, our drive times put Legacy West about 15 minutes away, the Medical District 22 to 25, and Downtown and DFW Airport about 27 at 8am.
