# Corinth Apartment Locator: Newer I-35E Complexes Between Denton and Lewisville

Corinth sits on I-35E between Denton and Lewisville, a short drive from Lewisville Lake. Nearly every apartment complex here was built after 2000, many of them recently. Three bedroom plans run larger than in central Dallas, and some frontage road entrances only work from one direction. The A-train runs past town but has no Corinth station yet. Parts of town are on CoServ's co-op power.

## Corinth rents this week

We check these numbers every week. Updated November 6, 2026. Where a place has a firm move-in special, its rent counts the free rent spread evenly over the lease. Rents are before fees. 14 communities in Corinth had homes available; 9 listed a move-in special. Method: https://apartmentlocatordallas.com/rent-data-methodology/

Our read this week: Newer buildings here cost about $196 more a month than middle age ones, even after their free rent ($1,259 vs. $1,063 for a 1 bedroom). If price matters most, start with the older buildings. 5 buildings here are brand new or still opening, and 4 of them have a move-in special right now. New buildings have to fill up fast, so they usually give the biggest deals. The typical 2 bedroom dropped $43 since November 1.

## Areas we cover inside Corinth

- **I-35E Frontage**: Most of Corinth's garden apartment complexes sit along the I-35E service roads between Lewisville and Denton. You get quick highway access, and the tradeoff is steady traffic noise on apartments that face the interstate.
- **Corinth Parkway**: Corinth Parkway crosses the middle of town from east to west, near City Hall and Corinth Community Park. Subdivisions of houses from the 1990s and 2000s line it, with I-35E a short drive east.
- **FM 2181**: Teasley Lane in Denton becomes FM 2181 as it crosses into Corinth, carrying a lot of the shopping and through traffic. Houses and a handful of complexes sit off it, and it meets I-35E on the east side.
- **Post Oak**: Post Oak Road runs through a newer stretch of Corinth, where small subdivisions of recent homes have gone in. Rentals are houses, and FM 2181 and I-35E handle most trips.

## Corinth Apartments Built Since 2000 Between Denton and Lewisville

- I-35E frontage road entrances that only work one way: ask which side to come in from, so you don't end up making a U-turn at the next overpass
- CoServ or Oncor: check the address, since CoServ homes can't shop on Power to Choose
- Lake Dallas ISD or Denton ISD: look up the street, since the line ignores ZIP codes

## I-35E frontage roads and the A-train

Apartments line I-35E and the roads off it, such as Garrison Road, Lake Sharon Drive, FM 2181 and Corinth Parkway. Some complexes can be reached from only one side of the frontage road, so ask which way to come in before you drive. (Miss the turn and you're looping back at the next overpass.)

The DCTA A-train follows I-35E between Denton and Carrollton, but Corinth has no station of its own yet. MedPark in south Denton and Highland Village/Lewisville Lake are the closest. North Central Texas College's campus is the local landmark, and the lake is a few minutes east.

## Complexes built since 2000, rental houses and CoServ

Nearly every complex was built from 2000 on. The newest screen the standard way, and many will say yes with conditions. The ones from the 2000s and early 2010s are bigger, with surface parking and larger three bedroom plans than central Dallas buildings. Houses for rent are more plentiful than in the city, too.

Got a credit or history problem? The managed buildings on I-35E post their rules and may still work with you, but there aren't many of them. Lewisville and Denton have many more choices.

Parts of Corinth get power from an electric cooperative, and CoServ is headquartered here. At co-op addresses there's no provider to pick, so look up the supplier before you budget.

## Everyday Corinth, between the lake and I-35E

Corinth is a quiet stretch of I-35E with Lewisville Lake to the east and bigger towns on both sides. Nights out mean Denton or Lewisville, and weekends lean toward the water and the trails.

### Getting around Corinth

By our timing, count on about 30 minutes to Legacy West in morning traffic, 34 to DFW Airport and 41 to Downtown Dallas. On a bike, the A-train Rail Trail follows the rail line for about 19 miles from downtown Denton south to Lewisville. It passes through Corinth and Lake Dallas, so a ride north to Denton can stay off I-35E.

- **A-train Rail Trail** (trail): A long, flat ride beside the train; head north toward Denton on a cool morning.

### Creek trails and a lake cove

Corinth Community Park, on Corinth Parkway, has ball fields, a pond and wooded trails along Lynchburg Creek. The city runs 12 parks and six trail systems, open for walking, biking and horseback riding. Next door in Lake Dallas, Willow Grove Park on Lewisville Lake has a beach, a fishing pier and a boat ramp. A cove is set aside for swimming, away from the boats.

- **Corinth Community Park** (park): Wooded creek trails and a pond for an after work walk or an easy mountain bike loop.
- **Willow Grove Park** (lake park): Swim in the roped cove or fish off the pier on a summer weekday, before the weekend crowd.

### A big free festival up the road

Denton's Arts and Jazz Festival has moved to the North Texas Fairgrounds and a September date. It stays free and run by volunteers, with music from Friday afternoon into Sunday evening, a short drive north on I-35E.

- **North Texas Fairgrounds** (fairgrounds): Home of the jazz festival in September; park early on Saturday, the busiest day.

## Corinth questions

Which school district is my Corinth address in?

Corinth is part Lake Dallas ISD, part Denton ISD, and the line zigzags. Either district can confirm a street address.

Is my Corinth apartment on CoServ?

Maybe. CoServ serves parts of town and Oncor the rest. CoServ homes buy power from the co-op, so there's no plan to shop. Ask which serves the building.

Where's the nearest A-train stop to Corinth?

Corinth has no station yet. MedPark in south Denton and Highland Village/Lewisville Lake are the closest, and which one is nearer depends on the building.

Why do Corinth complexes give such specific directions?

Some can be entered only from one direction on the frontage road, and from the other side you'll have to loop back at the next overpass. Get directions to the entrance first.

How new are Corinth's apartment complexes?

Mostly built since 2000, many in the last few years, along I-35E and roads such as Garrison, Lake Sharon and FM 2181. Their three bedroom plans run bigger than central Dallas ones, and houses for rent are common.

Do Corinth complexes approve with credit problems?

Many of the larger managed buildings will say yes with conditions, but there aren't many. Lewisville and Denton give a complicated file more places to land.

Is Corinth cheaper than Lewisville or Denton?

Rents land close to both, and Corinth has fewer buildings to pick from. Compare actual quotes for the units you like. Typical one bedroom rents right now: Corinth $1,199, Lewisville $1,253, Denton $1,082.

Do Corinth apartments take pets?

Most newer buildings on I-35E do, with breed and weight limits. The older complexes vary, so get the policy and deposits up front.

Is there an apartment locator near Corinth?

Yes. With a short list of complexes, we follow Corinth building by building. We check prices every week, look up each one's screening rules and add Lewisville and Denton when Corinth runs thin.
